Description

Includes special crispy powder and teriyaki sauce mix. Simply coat the skin side of the chicken with the special crispy powder, pan-fry it, then simmer with the sauce and you'll have perfectly crispy-skinned teriyaki chicken. The sweet and savory soy-based teriyaki sauce pairs perfectly with rice.

Uses two chicken thighs, serves 2–3 people.

preparation

  • Chicken thighs (with skin) – 2 pieces
  • Water – 150 ml(5oz)
  • No oil needed!

Steps

  1. Mix the Teriyaki Sauce Base with 150 ml of water.
  2. To ensure even cooking, pierce the skin side of the chicken several times with a fork, and make small cuts into the thick parts on the underside.
  3. Sprinkle the Powder evenly only on the skin side of the meat.
  4. Heat the frying pan well, place the chicken skin side down, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes.
