Chemical name of Icaridin: 1-(1-Methylpropoxycarbonyl)-2-(2-Hydroxyethyl) piperidine, Icaridin is also known as Picaridin. It is registered under the name Icaridin in Japan.

The insect repellent provides up to 8 hours of protection.

Safe for all ages, including babies, with no usage restrictions for children.

Passed Allergy-tested on skin (Not guaranteed to prevent allergies for everyone).

Gentle on the skin, with moisturizing sodium hyaluronate. The mist has minimal dispersion and no unpleasant odor, making it comfortable to use even for children who typically resist applying insect repellent.

From what age can it be used? Can it be used on babies?

There are no age restrictions on use. However, for infants, first-time users, or those with sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply a small amount to the inner arm and check for any reactions before use. Special caution is needed for infants under 6 months, as their skin barrier is still developing.

Can it be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

What is the recommended amount to spray?

For adults, spray 2-3 times on each arm. For children around 3 years old, spray 1-2 times on each arm. After spraying, spread the product evenly over the skin.

How many uses can one bottle provide?

For adults: about 55 uses (if sprayed 2-3 times on both arms and legs once a day).  

For a child around 3 years old: about 83 uses (if sprayed 1-2 times on both arms and legs once a day).

Does it work if sprayed over clothing?

It will only work on the areas of the clothing it is sprayed on. Since insects can bite through clothing, applying the spray to clothes is recommended. However, certain fabrics may be unsuitable. Please refer to the section on "clothing restrictions" below.

Are there any fabrics I shouldn't spray it on?

Do not use it on leather, fur, synthetic leather, stockings, or polyurethane products, as it may cause discoloration or damage. Avoid spraying it on watches, watch bands, and bags. For delicate fabrics like silk, rayon, waterproof items, or clothing labeled as not washable, test it in an inconspicuous area first, as it may cause stains, wrinkles, or damage.

Can it be used with sunscreen? If so, which should be applied first?

Yes, it can be used together. Apply sunscreen first, then this product afterward.

What should I do if my child licks it, gets it in their eyes, or inhales it?

  • If licked: A small amount should not cause problems, but rinse the mouth and encourage gargling.
  • If it gets in the eyes: Immediately rinse the eyes thoroughly with plenty of water or lukewarm water.
  • If inhaled and causing coughing: Move to fresh air and rest. Symptoms usually subside over time.
  • In all cases, if symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention immediately. Be sure to inform the doctor that the product contains ethanol and Icaridin.
