Sapporo Ichiban literally means "Sapporo's No.1 noodle", coined by future company president Takeshi Ida after he was particularly impressed with Sapporo's local ramen.
Cooking
- Put the noodles into a small pot, add 2 cups of water (500 ml, 17 fl oz), and boil for about 3 minutes.
- After turning off the heat, add the soup seasoning packet and stir well. Pour into a bowl.
- Add the special seasoning powder from the other packet.
- Add vegetables, grilled meat, eggs, or other ingredients according to your preference.
